We stayed five nights at Harrah's in Laughlin and were lucky enough to arrange a tour of The Grand Canyon thru Adventur Tours who have representatives at the hotel. Michelle at the desk was very helpful and did her best to accommodate our schedule.
Our tour guide Lisa was also very special as her knowledge of both the local and native peoples of the Region, the fauna and flora as well as the history of the Canyon and surrounding areas made seeing one of the greatest natural wonders of the world an excursion that we will never forget! If you're in the Laughin area I highly recommend taking a tour with Laughin Adventure Tours.
We spent a weekend in Laughlin and did both the Grand Canyon West tour and dune buggy Secret Pass and Oatman tours. Will, our GCW tour guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. Even when the weather didn't cooperate in the morning and cleared up in the afternoon he made accommodations for us to return to the skywalk and it was definitely worth the extra trip. Its a beautiful way to see the Grand Canyon up close. The tour never felt rushed with plenty of time to explore each stop. Thanks for a great day!
The dune buggy into Secret Pass is another great way to explore hidden parts of the desert that regular tours don't have access to and a fun time driving the buggy through the desert. There's dune buggy driving and some walking and things to see and the guide pointed out the history of the area which made it really interesting.
The Oatman mining camp is a good place to visit if you have kids and like to browse little shops. The burros walk the streets and you can buy food to feed them.
I just want you to know that Will and Michelle were great. Michelle was wonderful in explaining the tours and was even willing to stay so that we could get in on the Oatman Tour, we were not staying at Harrah's although I would love to stay there. Will was our tour guide. as far as I'm concern he goes above and beyond his job duties. He was very easy going and knowledgeable in the history and added little quirks along the way. , My husband and enjoyed it so much on our way to Oatman that once we got there we bought him dinner, He also helped me in Picking out a book of the area and where to get tee shirts for my grandchildren.
I don't know about the rest of the employees but if they are all like those 2 you will never have to worry. Its refreshing to see people that truly love their job and not just acting like they do you could tell with Will it came from the heart, Thank you again for having awesome employees

“My companion Ralph who is 93 was in awe of the Grand Canyon and the Skywalk. He told me he had wanted his whole life to see it. The weather was great, Candy was so much fun. We also went on the London Bridge and Oatman Tour. Our guide Bill was so knowledgeable and very nice. We took the Grand Canyon Tour on Wed. Mar. 21st and the London Bridge/Oatman Tour on Thurs. “We had a ball! We were a party of 6 and everyone was entertained immensely. It’s fun to see the street shootout (with audience participation), attempted robbery of the ATM machine, and feed the burros. Then have a cold beer and a bite to eat!! Then on to a gold mine to actually get a feel for what it’s like to be getting a lay-of-the-land (only underground) look at what it really takes to mine gold and minerals.
